The Asia & Pacific OTIC in PRC (APOP) is part of the Integration Lab hosted by ZhongGuanCun Academy of Mobile Communication Innovation (ZAMI), a construction of China's national science and technology innovation center in Beijing where O-RAN Alliance founding member China Mobile is one of the founders provide support and guidance to ZAMI. Following the vision of ZAMI, APOP will focus on cutting-edge technology research in the field of information and communication and actively promote the R&D and industrialization of Open RAN. Meanwhile, APOP will be a vendor independent, open, and qualified physical facility providing a collaborative, open and impartial working environment.
APOP support Conformance Test, Interoperability Test, End to End Test for Open RAN systems and sub-systems from O-RU, O-DU/O-CU, gNB, and more. Meanwhile, APOP will provide professional services not just in testing but also in troubleshooting, data analytics, consulting. We will also cover various technologies from 4G to 5G, architectures from NSA to SA for frequency range 1, user scenarios from indoor to outdoor, form factors from small cell to macro cell.
